Synergy Aerospace was established in 2010. Our staff provide years of experience and are dedicated to helping the warfighter win the battles of the future.

Bruce Smith

President

Bruce has been the president of Synergy for 9 years. Before starting the company, he served as Program Manager for two other DoD contractors and 15 years in the US Air Force as a fighter pilot in both the A-10 Warthog and the F-117 Nighthawk. Bruce is a seasoned executive who has brought energy and passion to the company. He strives to make sure all the employees enjoy a positive work environment and great benefit. Bruce holds a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming.

Mike Svecz

Vice President

Mike brings over 25 years Systems Engineering and experience in Naval Aviation, Unmanned Air Systems (UAS), Missile and Electronic Warfare programs to SAI. With over 20 years in DOD acquisition programs and Program Management including RDT&E and Production programs, both in the government and as a support contractor, Mike’s talents are put to good use in solving complex issues for our DoD Clients. He is also a skilled leader and supervisor, having served two prior companies as the general manager. Mike holds a BSEE from NJIT and an M.S. in Engineering Science from Penn State University.

Jeff Lytle

Chief Technology Officer

Jeff brings a wealth of experience in test, evaluation, development and integration of Naval, Air Force and Army Radar systems and ESM/EW systems. His work in the design and development of NCTI and ELINT systems as well as radar stimulation is the reason why our clients rely heavily on Jeff for electronic warfare support. Jeff holds a BSEE from Penn State.

Bruce’s strong radar and Matlab background in DoD R&D and systems acquisition puts him in high demand by many of the EW System programs within the Navy. Bruce has supported the EA-18G and EA-6B ICAP-III Test and Evaluation as well as integration of the ALQ-218 AN/ALQ-218 electronic warfare receiver and various selective reactive jamming systems. Bruce hold a in BS Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and an M.S.E.E. from the Naval Postgraduate School.
